If your database has an autoexec macro it will run when the database is opened. The Administrator program was adding the Autoexec macro into the settings file whether you selected it or not. The launcher would then use it, which could cause the autoexec macro to run twice. This is now fixed.
Total Access Startup no longer requires Access to be installed on the machine where you install the Administrator program. You specify the launch settings from the Administrator program and can deploy it to other users to run your application.
There was an error in the user manual and help file documentation on the %PROFILE% syntax. This now correctly points to the C:\Users\USERNAME folder.
This update includes the following fixes and enhancements:
The original release of Total Access Startup 2016 included launcher files which could not run in Windows XP or earlier. This would not be an issue for the more recent versions of Microsoft Access/Office, but if you are supporting older versions, this may be critical.
The affected files are the ones you use to launch your Access application:
No changes were made to the Administrator program or the settings files.
If you deployed Total Access Startup to people who may be using Windows XP or earlier, replace the respective TAStart.exe and TASLnch.exe files with the new copies in your installation folder.
The original release was Version 16.00.0027 on April 21, 2016
Supports Microsoft Office 365/Access 2021, 2019, 2016, 2013, 2010, 2007, 2003, 2002, 97, and 95
