FMS, Inc. announced today the release of Total Access Statistics for Access 2002, part of Office XP. Total Access Statistics is the most advanced data analysis tool for Microsoft Access.
Total Access Statistics quickly analyzes data for an unlimited number of records and multiple fields for any Access table, linked table or query. A wide range of statistical functions are available including percentiles, regressions, frequency distributions, correlations, t-Tests, ANOVA, crosstabs, Chi-Square, non-parametrics, probability functions, and much more.
Integrated into Access as an add-in, an interactive Statistics Wizard guides users through the process of selecting the analysis to perform and the table and fields to analyze. The results are placed in Access tables that can be sorted, queried or used in reports. All analyses settings are automatically saved as scenarios that can be re-run or edited at any time. A programmatic interface is available to invoke scenarios within Access applications.
"As Access databases contain more and more data, there is an increased need to analyze that data beyond what Access queries offer,” said Luke Chung, FMS president and founder. “Total Access Statistics gives Access users and developers the power they need to analyze their Access data the way they expect within Access.”
"If you need to run statistical analysis on your databases (and these days, a lot of people do), you no longer have to worry about getting your data into Excel first, or writing lots of complex code-based reports. Total Access Statistics does a good job of making the most of your data. Couple that with a royalty free runtime distribution license and you have a tool worth buying,” said Craig M. Bobchin, Access-VB-SQL Advisor Magazine.
FMS has offered commercial statistical analysis products since 1990. In addition to Access, FMS also offers Total VB Statistics for Visual Basic developers, and the new Total SQL Statistics program for VB and .NET developers using Microsoft SQL Server.
Total Access Statistics includes a royalty-free runtime license that allows the inclusion of its analysis in distributed Access applications. Licensing is on a per developer basis.
Pricing is $599 per license, $1799 for five licenses, and $5999 for 25 licenses. Upgrades from previous versions are $349. Larger quantity discounts are available by contacting FMS. Total Access Statistics can be purchased directly from FMS, through corporate resellers, and international distributors. All FMS products offer a 30-day money back guarantee.
