Total Visual SourceBook from FMS, based in Virginia, USA. Total Visual Sourcebook is, probably the best source code repository out there if you are using Access or Visual Basic. As many of our members will know, we always look for products that ease, or do away with coding, for the obvious reasons encountered by a disabled developer. This was one reason for recommending Access, i.e., its great use of wizards etc. The thing is, there are many times where code must be used to make one’s application do something different and that is when you will really appreciate the brilliance of Total Visual Sourcebook.

There are oodles of code available within Total Visual Sourcebook and finding what you need is easy. The Code Explorer shows, within its panes, which piece of code you are viewing, which application(s) it is written for, and examples to show how it is used. We fully support the use of Total Visual Sourcebook and recommend you download a demo today from their website.

Incidentally, we would like to congratulate FMS on their splendid customer relations. Not only did we not have to buy anything to get a very polite response, but after suggesting a new product to our contact, FMS’s support sent us an email thanking us for our time. This is a very welcome gesture in these times of abrupt contact.

We will hopefully be reviewing more FMS products shortly, but take it from us, these are really nice people to deal with and their products are excellent.
